We identify each other through complex layers of social conditioning and responses; through smell; through sound; through colour. One way to step outside the norm is to follow one’s own rhythm and codes. This can create invisibility or super-visbility. Invisibility enables the detached observer to navigate, unobserved, the minefield of social strata. Opaqueness can invite projection. Super-visibility consigns one to the realm of entertainment (distraction). Perhaps invisibility is a tool of navigation into unknown territories.
