Commission for Embercombe, Devon
The inspiration for this body of work comes from being in the beautiful Embercombe environment, listening to the sounds of nature, breathing in the fragrant air. I tuned into the blissful energies and life force coursing and streaming through everything around me, visible and hidden.
My sketches and paintings are an interaction, part of a dance, between myself and what I physically see and what I tune into as the life force behind and within nature, exploding into form.
I was so happy, so grateful, to be in that dance, if only for a short while, and for Embercombe’s energies to dance their colourful magic into and through me. Visit the Embercombe website.
