About Kaya
Life is not at all what it seems. All my life I have sought to understand more deeply and fully what lies behind the happenings of our times. My search for understanding of the unseen realms and a deeper connection with all that is drives me forward. I find the clearest connection in nature where I am touched by pure energies from the Earth, from the cosmos.
My work is inspired by my contact with nature, observing changes in light, colour and form throughout the seasons. At times I paint with acrylics on large canvases, using spontaneous and sweeping strokes in response to colours that come to me through my environment or meditation. At other times I create smaller pieces of work, often using monoprints and inks.
