As an esotericist with a background in Buddhism, Christianity, homeopathy and healing, I am a life-long artist. I am passionate about the environment, connecting deeply with nature, the planet and humanity and am in awe of the evolutionary process I/we are participating in. A major aspect of my healing work is to restore the balance between the forces of the divine feminine and divine masculine. This is the basis of my interest in new science and new cosmology.
In my search to find greater understanding about my true origins(connection with Source), I must explore the relationships I have with people around me, my world and the cosmos. I do this through meditation, dance and painting. Exploring the dynamics and relationships between colours and the worlds they reveal to me is one of my greatest joys. Finding forms to paint colours into is a lifelong experimentation. My work is inspired by my contact with nature, observing changes in light, colour and form throughout the seasons. At times I paint with acrylics on large canvases, using spontaneous and sweeping strokes in response to colours that come to me through my environment or meditation. At other times I create smaller pieces of work, often using monoprints and inks.
I have worked on several collaborative projects with performance/ dance/ art; and run occasional art workshops. I have had my art work published a few times in a national buddhist magazine (Art of Living). I was runner-up in a Daler Rowney, Make Your Mark Competition (leisure painter category) in 2008, with my work being exhibited in the Mall Galleries London, July 2009
